My friend Grace R. Duncan is here today to give us a bit more insight into her latest release, Devotion.

I am very appreciative to Andrew for giving me time today here in the Land of Make Believe. Thank you! Continuing the interview, let’s see what else Tanner and Finley will tell us.

* * *

So, back to serious for a moment, what do you like best about yourself? Least?

Tanner sighs. Let me tackle the least, first. At the risk of sounding repetitive… the tendency to keep things to myself. I almost lost the most important thing in my life to that fault and I’d love to be able to get rid of it. On the flip side… I like the fact that when I’ve finally gotten my head out of my ass, I don’t fuck around. I do what I’ve got to do to fix it.

Finley laughs. I’d say so. Finley glances at Tanner then back. Like flying… For me… Well, I like to think, for the most part, I’m pretty easy-going. It takes a lot to push me to where I lash out.

Tanner chuckles. Definitely. Uh… two years?

Finley nods. Yeah, two years. That said, I know I can be impulsive. I mean, yeah, sometimes that’s not a bad thing, but sometimes I really ought to sit back and think things through a little more. I also used to keep more to myself. I could have—should have—asked Tanner a lot more directly than I did.

Well, then, let me turn this around. What do you like best about your partner? Least?

Finley bites his lip. For all that Tanner can be stubborn—and that’s probably the thing I like least—he also is very perseverant. He’ll push to do what needs to be done. It’s a good trait for an alpha and it’s probably a bit part of what helped us get past our issues. And, well, he’s got a really nice—

So, Finley’s impulsiveness—Finley laughs at being cut off and Tanner grins—has two sides to it. I end up being a lot more spontaneous—in a good way—than I would otherwise be. I tend to think things through a lot, so there’s definitely a positive to that. On the other hand… it’s certainly caused us a few… um… problems.

Finley snorts. A few?

Tanner grins. Only a few. He kisses Finley quickly. I guess our relationship is still too new. I haven’t really found much I like least about him. Except maybe when we’re in bed, he has this tendency to—.

Right, so… next question! Finley blushes bright red.

*grin* Okay, okay. So… What do you want from life? What are your ultimate goals?

Tanner smiles. Well, eventually, I’ll be alpha. I want to be a good one. I’d like to see the pack business do well and be part of making it that way. Maybe, eventually, find a way for us to have a couple of pups.

Finley grins. After I’m not a pup anymore?

Tanner rolls his eyes. Yeah, yeah, you’re not a pup anymore. Tanner shakes his head.

For me… well, I want to be a good alpha mate. I want to see the pack grow and do well. I’m hoping to do what I can make the forests around pack lands better for us as well as the animals. And, yeah, I’d like pups someday. Finley grins at Tanner, who chuckles.

devotiontourgraphic1Thanks again to Andrew for the time in the Land of Make Believe!

Each person who picks a question the boys answered and gives me the answer for them, is entered to win a copy of any of my previously published titles.

Be sure to follow the entire tour. There’ll be a scavenger hunt at the end for a chance at a $25 Amazon gift card! Keep up with the tour here:  http://www.grace-duncan.com/devotion-blog-tour

There is also a very special giveaway going on for Devotion. In the story, there are eight references to werewolf movies or movies with werewolves in them. Everyone who can tell me accurately where all eight are (what page) and what the movie is, will be entered to win a signed paperback of Devotion and a Dreamspinner gift card.

Blurb:

DevotionFSFinley Cooper is tired of waiting for his destined mate to be ready to claim him. In deference to human laws, he’s already agreed to wait until he’s eighteen. But now his birthday has come and gone—and his mate has a new set of excuses. Finley doesn’t understand it any more than his wolf does, and he’s beginning to wonder if fate made a mistake.

Tanner Pearce wants nothing more than to claim his mate, but he worries that Finley is too young. Tanner will never forget what happened when his best friend mated at Finley’s age, only to have that mate end up feeling trapped and breaking their bond. While rare, it can happen, and the fallout Tanner witnessed as his best friend tried to deal with the break has haunted him for years.

When Finley finally has enough, he threatens to find someone who will claim him if Tanner doesn’t, and Tanner realizes he needs to come to terms with his fears or risk losing his mate forever.

About the Author:

noh8Grace Duncan grew up with a wild imagination.  She told stories from an early age – many of which got her into trouble.  Eventually, she learned to channel that imagination into less troublesome areas, including fanfiction, which is what has led her to writing male/male erotica.

A gypsy in her own right, Grace has lived all over the United States.  She has currently set up camp in East Texas with her husband and children – both the human and furry kind.

As one of those rare creatures who loves research, Grace can get lost for hours on the internet, reading up on any number of strange and different topics.  She can also be found writing fanfiction, reading fantasy, crime, suspense, romance and other erotica or even dabbling in art.
